Pisces and Libra Compatibility
Pisces, water sign, and Libra, an air sign. Calm warm rain or Tsunami – Pisces will usually choose this lol. These are such opposite signs, so it’s always incredible to see them together and work out – which is very possible, although very challenging. Other signs in their charts may depict another story, but this is generically speaking.
Pisces is emotional and spiritual, wants to be a lover more than a friend; whereas Libra is more friendly and creative, wants to be both a friend and a lover. Pisces has two fishes, and Libra has a scale. Pisces is a mutable sign, easily adapts; whereas Libra is a cardinal sign, wants to always move forward.
Let’s start here. Pisces is sensitive – very sensitive. They’re a water sign and share the trait of emotion with fellow signs Cancer and Scorpio. The difference between Pisces and their soul siblings is that they are more vulnerable to feel other people’s feelings; whereas Cancer will dwell and Scorpio will suppress their own feelings. So you can say that Pisces, being a mutable sign, is the friendliest one amongst them. They seem to always have a lot of friends, and they share this trait with Libra.
Libra isn’t very sensitive at all. Libra is a cardinal sign, so motivation and change are goals for them. They’re an air sign and it’s all about mental connections rather than emotional. They share this trait with fellow signs Aquarius and Gemini. The difference between them is that Libra prides themselves in building relationships, whereas Gemini likes controversy and Aquarius wants mass change. They all love to argue and debate, so this is the part where Libra and Pisces may butt heads.
Libra wants to please Pisces, but to ensure balance they may sway back and forth between love and hate. Why? They understand that their lover wants to be loved and will usually give it to them, but they also want to be a friend at the same time. They debate with themselves and other people constantly, thus the reason for the scale. This can drive Pisces crazy because they want consistency in love. Remember, they’re emotional and even with that biting sarcasm and off putting persona – sometimes rough exterior, they still have needs.
Libra is more accepting than Pisces, and will try to find solutions to create a balance that works for the both of them. This may not be enough for Pisces as they feel that to be in a relationship you have to be immersed in love. For a Pisces to be completely submissive, they need to feel and connect on a deeper level. They want a soul connection. This is probably tough for Libra to understand because to them if they’re with Pisces then it should be enough – they’re already offering friendship and love, what more could they need? Well, you like most people are trying to figure out the same question. Here’s the answer, you have to be submissive to get submissive.
Submit to love rather than friendship, and you will find a completely submissive Pisces who will be loyal and true, and will do everything they can to make you happy. Sure Pisces can be difficult at times to love because they’re so emotional, but if they become vulnerable to you in private don’t take advantage of them by not loving them anyways. This part is actually the easiest part for Libra – to accept without judgement. On the other side, for Libra to completely love Pisces will have to compromise and offer friendship as well. If they can give Libra some space when they start to see that they are being smothered, then it should work out long-term. How this will span out depends on how they both feel for each other, as well as the other signs in their birth chart.
In the end, Libra will learn how to love deeper and Pisces will learn how to be more balanced. They will both learn a lot in their relationship together, and if Pisces learns how to compromise instead of acting on pure feelings and if Libra learns to be submissive then this may work out for eternity 🙂
