Aries and Virgo Compatibility

Aries, a cardinal fire sign, and Virgo, a mutable earth sign. This pair is a hit or miss, most of the times it’s a miss. However, if there are compatible signs in their chart then they might make it. Together they can make a lava of love or an earthquake of hate.

Aries is an aggressive fire sign who courageously rams into every challenge and obstacle. They are a cardinal sign that believes in forward thinking and leadership – even by force. They require constant physical stimulation or else they’ll grow bored. It isn’t uncommon for this sign to fall more in love with the thrill of the chase more than the person. They need a partner with high energy and is just as active as they are (this is good for Virgo who is also very active). When in love they are very generous and romantic partners, who want to revolve their world around their love and expect the same in return. They are not the best communicators, so if really frustrated they can take it out on their partner in a physical dispute (not uncommon). They can be very selfish in love and they know what they want, so expect to have it regardless of what someone else says. There are times where this sign in compared to a child, innocent and naïve in love, but also throws fits of rage and is spoiled. This is due to the fact that they are the very first sign of the zodiac. Like their fire siblings, they are impatient, short-tempered, and impulsive. This may present a problem for Virgo, who is much more calm and mature in all matters of their life.

Virgo is a very passive aggressive earth sign. They are highly diplomatic and require constant intellectual stimulation. Like their earth siblings, they are highly responsible, hardworking, straight-forward, and require strong earth-like foundations. Unlike their earth siblings, they are much more social as they are a mutable sign and build their foundations on solid relationships with friends, family, and their partner. They can run pretty cold because they aren’t very emotional and don’t like to show weakness. However, they are much more compassionate than their earth siblings like that of a saint – thus the reason they are the virgin. They are built on logic and compassion at the same time – it’s a strange combination but it works out for them. They work to maintain themselves and strive for perfection – mentally, emotionally, and physically. It isn’t uncommon for them to hold themselves up higher than others and they definitely do not like people telling them otherwise, since they work so hard on themselves. When in love they are very practical partners who will do the most to benefit the relationship as a whole, often times sacrificing themselves if necessary. They are at their best when they are in career that moves them up the ladder, and when they are not at their best they can have the most critical tongue that pushes people away.

When Aries and Virgo get together they will find that they can actually help one another – more Virgo with Aries. Virgo can be more of a supportive partner for Aries and will have the stamina to keep up with them. Aries, in turn, can fuel the fire within and offer strength to Virgo who will appreciate it as so. They may butt heads when they argue because Aries will ignite with overwhelming power, but will find that Virgo will remain cool and level headed – even cold and completely heartless. Virgo may want to bite their critical tongue because Aries won’t stand for it, but Aries may have to understand that Virgo is a partner who just wants to help. In turn, Aries has to keep their energy at an even level and learn some self-control – especially when they’re angry. If they can work on a compromise and accept their differences, then they may work out for some time. However, they may just find that there are other partners better suited for them.
